Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Nothing says Halloween like Jack-o-lanterns! And you know what that means? Roasted Pumpkin Seeds! These tasty little treats come complimentary with your pumpkins, so be sure you don’t throw them away when you are carving them out. 30 mins in the oven and a touch of soya sauce to add just the perfect amount of salt and you’re good to go!

INGREDIENTS

3 cups raw pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup soya sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Once you have scooped out your pumpkin (and soon to be jack-o-lantern), separate the seeds from the pumpkin pulp. Rinse in a colander and pat dry with paper towel. Place in a bowl and toss with the oil and soya cause so the seeds are completely covered.

Preheat the oven to 300F. Place the seeds in a even and thin layer on a tinfoil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 – 30 mins, flipping once, until crispy and starting to brown.

Remove from the oven and enjoy once cool!
